CS Semi-qualified : ICSI ECRETARIAL EXECUTIVE CERTIFICATE

THE INSTITUTE OF COMPANY SECRETARIES OF INDIA (ICSI) - SECRETARIAL EXECUTIVE CERTIFICATE

Regulation 28A and 28B under Chapter-IVA of the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982 provide for the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive Certificate.

OBJECTIVE

To recognize students who have completed the Executive Program, create employment opportunities for them, and develop semi-qualified professionals to serve Practicing Company Secretaries and Corporates.

ELIGIBILITY

A student who has:- passed the Executive Programme;

or - completed Executive Development Programme or any other equivalent programme as determined by the Council and such Practical Training as is prescribed under these regulations or exempted therefrom; and made an application in such manner and mode alongwith such fee as may be determined by the Council

PROCEDURE

An eligible student may apply for award of ‘The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive Certificate’ online through link https://stimulate.icsi.edu/

STATUS OF HOLDER OF INSTITUTE OF COMPANY SECRETARIES OF INDIA (ICSI) - SECRETARIAL EXECUTIVE CERTIFICATE

A student who has been awarded the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive Certificate is entitled to use the designation "Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive." However, receiving this certificate does not grant the individual membership rights or the ability to claim membership of the Institute.

VALIDITY OF CERTIFICATE

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive Certificate is valid for a period of one calendar year from the date of issue and is renewable on completion of four Professional Development Credit Hours on annual basis and payment of annual renewal fee of Rs.1000. The certificate will be renewed for a maximum period of two years only.

OTHER DETAILS

The ‘Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive’ will be eligible to receive the ‘Chartered Secretary’ journal.

A ‘Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive’ may continue to pursue the regular Company Secretaryship course.

A student after having awarded the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive Certificate shall secure four Professional Development Credit Hours for renewal of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - Secretarial Executive Certificate.
