The student who would like to join the Course with a 10+2 pass or equivalent has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e. 

CSEET

Executive Programme

Professional Programme

The Student who would like to join the Course after passing the Graduation has to undergo two stages of the Company Secretaryship i.e. 

Executive Programme

Professional Programme

CSEET can be pursued in 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream (Excluding Fine Arts)

Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.

Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course

ADMISSION TO THE CS COURSE is open throughout the year.

                     

CSEET

   1. CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is being introduced which will be a mandatory qualifying test for all categories of students for registration to the Executive Programme except for a few exempted categories. Graduates / Post Graduates, who were hitherto eligible to seek registration directly to the Executive Programme, will also have to qualify the CSEET to become eligible for registration to the Executive Programme.

2. New Admissions to the Foundation Programme of CS Course stands discontinued.
(Note: Existing Foundation Programme Students shall be allowed to appear in the Foundation Programme Examinations till the expiry of the validity of their registrations. Such students, after passing the Foundation Programme Examinations, may register for the Executive Programme as per the existing process.)

3. The following categories of students shall be exempted from qualifying CSEET and can seek registration directly to the Executive Programme :

a) CS Foundation Programme passed students.
b) ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) Final Course passed students.
c) ICMAI (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India) Final Course passed students.

CSEET Eligibility: -- Students who have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with the condition of submitting 12th pass proof at the time of Executive Programme registration and Fee will be Rs. 1000/-

Cut-off Dates for CSEET Registration: -

Registration between
-- 16th December to 15th April, Saturday/ Sunday in 2nd /3rd Week of May, results will be declared By 4th Week of May.
-- 16th April to 15th June, Saturday/ Sunday in 2nd /3rd Week of July, results will be declared By 4th Week of July.
-- 16th June to 15th October, Saturday/Sunday in 2nd /3rd Week of November, results will be declared By 4th Week of November.
-- 16th October to 15th December, Saturday/Sunday in 2nd /3rd Week of January, results will be declared By 4th Week of January.

Subjects:-

• Computer-Based Test: 120 Minutes for
1. Business Communication
2. Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
3. Economic and Business Environment
4. Current Affairs
• Viva-voce: 15 Minutes on "Presentation And Communication Skills"


Exemptions:-

• Candidates who have passed CS Foundation Programme are exempted from CSEET without any payment of exemption fee.
• Candidates who have passed the Final Examination of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and/or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempted from CSEET and shall pay `5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) towards the exemption fee at the time of Registration to CS Executive Programme.

CSEET Passing Criteria: -

Candidates shall be declared ‘PASS’ in CSEET on securing 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate.

Registration Process: - The steps for registration for CSEET are as under:

Step 1: In order to Register for “CSEET”, type www.icsi.edu in any recommended browser (IE 9, Mozilla 38.0 & above, Chrome 39.0), then click on “Online Services”
Step 2: Click here for registration for CSEET.
Step 3: Fill in Basic Details
Step 4: Fill in Qualification Details
Step 5: Fee Details
Step 6: Upload Mandatory Documents*
Step 7: Preview Application Click on the “Confirm Application” button after previewing
Step 8: Payment Mode Selection
Step 9: Transaction Id Generation.

Note - transaction Id for future reference. On successful payment, the candidate will be registered in CSEET and the same will be intimated through email/SMS on the registered email id/mobile number. Candidates can appear for the CSEET as per the schedule sent through email/SMS.

*Mandatory document to be uploaded by the students at the time of registration for CSEET:

- Photograph of the candidate (size 20kb to 50kb)
- Signature of the candidate (size 10kb to 20kb)
- DOB Certificate (10th pass certificate)
- Admit Card/ Hall Ticket for 10+2 Examinations (if appearing) or 10+2 Pass Certificate/ Mark Sheet
- Category Certificate (for availing Fee Concession)
- Identity proof (Aadhar card/passport/voter ID /pan card/driving license/ration card).

All the files to be uploaded while registering for CSEET should be present in one of the formats viz. jpg, jpeg, png, gif, BMP, pdf. The maximum allowed file size is 2 MB.
