PROFILE OF CS MANISH GUPTA, PRESIDENT, THE ICSI

A fellow member of the ICSI, CS Manish Gupta is a Law Graduate with a Master’s Degree in Commerce. He has been associated with the profession of Company Secretaries for the last 18 years, as a Practicing Company Secretary. 

He has been elected as the President for the year 2023 after being re-elected for the term of the Central Council for 2023-2026. He was previously selected for the period 2019-2022 and served as the Chairman of the PCS Committee of the ICSI in 2021 and 2019 and PMQ Course Committee of the ICSI in 2021 and 2020, and as the Vice-President of the ICSI for the year 2022.  

CS Gupta is a registered Insolvency Professional with the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India and is impaneled as an Arbitrator with the Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. (BSE) and National Stock Exchange Ltd. (NSE). He is also impaneled as Mediator/Conciliator under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 with various Regional Directors.  

He specializes in handling complex assignments on Corporate Law, Securities Law, and Taxation Law and is a regular speaker at training programs, seminars, and conferences in India and abroad. 

CS Manish Gupta was elected to the Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for two consecutive terms in 2011-2014 and 2015-2018 and was unanimously elected as the Chairman of NIRC of ICSI for the year 2016.

आईसीएसआई के एक साथी सदस्य, सीएस मनीष गुप्ता वाणिज्य में मास्टर डिग्री के साथ लॉ ग्रेजुएट हैं। वह पिछले 18 वर्षों से कंपनी सचिव के पेशे से जुड़े हुए हैं, कंपनी सचिव का अभ्यास कर रहे हैं।

2023-2026 के लिए केंद्रीय परिषद के कार्यकाल के लिए फिर से चुने जाने के बाद उन्हें वर्ष 2023 के लिए अध्यक्ष के रूप में चुना गया है। वह पहले 2019-2022 की अवधि के लिए चुने गए थे और 2021 और 2019 में ICSI की PCS समिति के अध्यक्ष और 2021 और 2020 में ICSI की PMQ पाठ्यक्रम समिति के रूप में और वर्ष के लिए ICSI के उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्य किया था। 2022.

सीएस मनीष गुप्ता को 2011-2014 और 2015-2018 में लगातार दो बार इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कंपनी सेक्रेटरीज ऑफ इंडिया के उत्तरी भारत क्षेत्रीय परिषद के लिए चुना गया था और उन्हें सर्वसम्मति से वर्ष 2016 के लिए आईसीएसआई के एनआईआरसी के अध्यक्ष के रूप में चुना गया था।
