The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has relaxed the dates for registering in Company Secretary Executive Programme, for Class 12 students who cleared their CSEET in July 2021. The validity of the July 2021 CSEET result has now been extended from July 20, 2022, to January 20, 2023.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CBSE conducted their Class 12 examination in two terms this year,
and students who were enrolled in Class 12 when they had taken the CSEET in July 2021 would
have lost a year due to the delayed result of their Class 12 Term-II examinations.
In view of the above, the CBSE had requested the ICSI for an extension for students on
compassionate grounds, citing the above reason for the delay in conducting the CBSE class 12
examination. The Council of the Institute takes cognizance of the situation and without creating
any precedence in the future decided to facilitate such students and extend the validity of the
results of July 2021 CSEET up to January 20, 2023.
The decision taken by the Council of the ICSI in its meeting held on July 21, 2022, would give the
students an opportunity to submit the mandatory Class 12 pass certificate till January 20, 2023,
for registering in the Company Secretary Executive Programme.
